Just a note to re-iterate something I received a comment about on the “Citrix XenApp 5.0 – Build Part 3 – Tweaking!” post.  Read the comments and my response, they are linked to the post and there for all to read…I have nothing to hide!

When you take advice from Blogs, tech sites and such on th’interweb, it is always best to confirm your findings.  These posts of mine are from real-world experience in my professional or personal use of technology but as you can imagine nobody could ever say that all settings are compatible with all applications, especially in the Citrix world.

So, by all means, please use the information posted here, much of it that is Citrix Presentation Services related has been gleaned from industry experts, such as Doug Brown (http://www.dabcc.com/) and Brian Madden (http://www.brianmadden.com/) and a whole slew of others (including a number of Citrix SE’s who I have had the pleasure of making acquaintance with over the years), as well as my own experiences in my 21 years in IT.  The information, in my mind has been tried and tested but take care and time to understand the finer points of what you are doing, so you know where to look if something exhibits problematic behaviour!

If in doubt, make a backup of your registry.  Microsoft always tells you to do so, and maybe they have something there (for once).

Regards
PL
